The combative Venetian athlete, born in 1981, comes after a season spent with the Venice Roller Team that has kept him away from the World Inline Cup;

Georg Rabanser

Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st February have been played two Snowboard Triveneto Cup races at Val of Funes. On Saturday a slalom and on Sunday a giant slalom. Georg Rabanser is placed first in Saturday’s race and second in Sunday’s race.

Saturday and next Sunday there will be the first international rowing event for Italy in the women’s rowing with team headed by Josy CT Verdonkschot compete through 16 th edition of the FISA Team Cup in Seville.
In the water of the Guadalquivir, there will be an important test of the short distances of 1000 (Saturday) and 500 (Sunday) meters.
15 countries are entered for a total of 118 crews, including 5 Italians convened for the Match: Gabriella Bascelli (Lazio Rowing), Elisabetta Sancassani (Fiamme Gialle), Erika Bello (Lazio Rowing Club), Laura Schiavone (Irno) and Laura Milani (Fiamme Gialle).
Two races per day for all five athletes with some variation from first to second day.
The 1000 meters, Sancassani, Milani and Bello right there in a single senior, Bascelli and Schiavone going to reform the double European Champion and the second test involved the four of Silver Cup in Brest and Milani, bronze at the World Cup in the individual lightweights.
About 500 meters, there will be double-Schiavone Sancassani with Bascelli race in single senior with Bella and Milani, right Laura Milani gets on the four of couple instead of Erika Bello which competes the second test in the lightweight single.
To close the program the four of Couple (Schiavone, Gabriella Bascelli, Bello and Sancassani). The countries included are Cyprus, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, South Africa, Sweden and Hungary.

As in 2009, also this year, will be held in Aguilas in Spain, a meeting reserved for collegial athletes of High Specialization School of the Italian Federation Triathlon. The SAS Manager, Mario Sergio and CT Sergio Contin have called the most promising athletes. Among these our Andrea Secchiero. Luca Presti on the podium at Novara

Saturday night, in the last individual competition in the program, the Italian Indoor Championships in Novara gives to Luca Presti the Italian title in the 1000m formula world. Since the beginning of the competition it had possible to see the excellent preparation of Luca that in the end has not missed the shot. In the final 8 of the same race, Alessandro Gherardi falls and has to be content with 5th place.
In the championships just concluded Athletes of Vitamins & Co. Ferrara World Inline Team, engaged in Novara with the respective Teams FIHP took part also in the 5000m test points where Alessandro Gherardi (ASD Rinascita Ravenna) got 6th and Luca Presti (asd HP Noale) 9th. For the American of Sunday morning also Nicola Canella arrives (to complete the trio of Bononia asd) obtain an 10th place, while the relay race with Luca Presti is cancelled.
Next appointment, the first one where the boys of Vitamins & Co. Ferrara World Inline Team will race together at last this season, on 21st February with the CORRIFERRARA INLINE 20K.

Formello (Rm) - In the 16th Valli del Sorbo Cross, good performance of the young Italian Alessandro Turroni. The Piedmont guy has been the only Italian who fought  back the athletes of North Africa (just 8 in the first 15).

The race was won by the Algerian Filali Tayeb whereas Turroni has been able to get on the podium. To point out the wonderful performance of Francesco Carboni (9th) and our athletes Manager Giuseppe Carella (14 °).

Bilbao (Spain) - International appointment for the best Italian clubs of the cross, which were engaged in the race of the XLVII Cross Championshop Cup on Sunday, February 7th. In the senior races, to defend the Italian colors Fiamme Gialle, there were among men (second place behind the Spanish of the Abebe Bikila Toledo), and the CS Army among women who have finished on third place in the race won by the Russian team Sport Club Moscow. Among these, in the park Etxebarria also two athletes of the Team Arsenik have been engaged, Federica Dal Ri (octave, and first Italian) and Laila Soufyane (33rd in a bad day).
